Now, without further ado, let’s dive into the first question: What brought you to Reed’s Crossing?
Dustin, resident since 2020
“Where we previously lived, every house had the same floor plan. The exterior and interior were exactly the same, so it felt like this cookie-cutter neighborhood. And when you walk into Reed’s Crossing, you’ll notice it’s not that. Every house is unique and has its own story to be told. You can tell it’s something different, and the uniqueness is what attracted us to the area.
“My wife and I walked around, and we got the feeling that this is the environment we want our kids to grow up in. We love everything the community has to offer, from the wellness center and the school to the parks, walking paths, and biking opportunities. There’s tons of people with pets, and everybody’s out and about with smiles on their faces. We just felt like it was a good fit for our family.”
Tony & Christy, residents since 2019
“We were interested in a modern home and had other homes in mind, but when our realtor brought us to the Stone Bridge model at Reed’s Crossing, we fell in love immediately. I could see all future holidays, future grandbabies, all the children coming back with their significant others. I saw the future into my golden age. We just kept thinking, ‘This is our forever home.’
“One thing we loved is that we could make a lot of selections. Whether it was surfaces or flooring, we were able to customize pretty much the whole way, especially in the backyard. We love the Northwest, we love modern homes, and that’s exactly what this neighborhood afforded us—the ability to have the modern architecture that we were looking for.”
Donna, resident since 2020
“I have a townhouse in Reed's Crossing and I love it. We moved from Columbia City with land around us. Now, we have no worries about taking care of landscaping and can enjoy our time walking the many walking paths in the area, reading, cooking, and more.”
Ryan, resident since 2019
“My wife and I (and our two cats) have lived in Reed’s Crossing since November 2019. We were looking for an eco-friendly home in the Portland Metro, and a walkable community that featured greenspace. Our search brought us to Reed’s Crossing and we knew it was exactly what we were looking for!”
Janki, resident since 2021
“My husband and I were on our way to look at another open house, and we drove by TV Highway and saw a bunch of new homes. At that time there wasn’t much built yet, so it was a clear view. So we stopped by and it was amazing. We learned about the community, we checked out all the builders and the model homes, and that was it.
“We ended up going with Lennar, because we really liked their Everything’s Included® feature. I was a first-time homebuyer and kind of knew what I wanted, but at the same time I didn't have the expertise or know all the finishes that I would need. I explored the Lennar layouts in the model homes, and I loved their floor plans and the finishes they offered. The team at Lennar really helped us through the process, too—they were great.”
