Reed's Crossing schools are a part of the Hillsboro School District, which is passionate about developing and diversifying its offerings for students, and it’s investing heavily in programs and facilities to develop even better resources. Since the passing of a $408 million construction bond that includes $30 million for investments in expanded technology infrastructure, new schools are breaking ground. The future is bright for HSD, and the residents of Reed’s Crossing will be part of it.
The Hillsboro School District owns 40 acres within Reed’s Crossing. Tamarack Elementary opened fall of 2023 on a spacious site at the heart of the community while another site has been designated for a future combined elementary and middle school. Residents of the community are now able to have their children be part of bringing this education resource to life.
